Joe Kennedy is the CEO of Social61, a southern California firm which conducts Social Media Background Checks for employers and institutions on prospective and current employees, contractors and vendors. He is well known in the southern California “Silicon Beach” area in senior financial roles, and has worked with many firms from startups to IPO.
Previous to Social61, Joe was the CFO of a well-known digital media firm, producing several technology-oriented web sites in 5 languages. He also was a partner in an accounting. programming and e-commerce services firm, and enjoyed many years in senior financial positions within the Weider organization (Shape Magazine et al).
He is a published business book author, has written many articles for online and print, and now writes mainly for the www.social61.com/blog/. He is also a frequent talk-radio show guest, and explains to audiences all over how social media may be used by employers within the limits of legal and technical constraints.
Joe grew up in Pennsylvania, and earned a finance degree and an MBA from a top university before moving to California. He also claims to be an expert in high speed electronic cash transfers to his 2 children.

Jacques Chauvet

Mr. Chauvet is the founder of Global Ad Exec, LLC, a boutique recruiting firm serving domestic and international media companies and advertising agencies. As growth in this niche market and GAE accelerated, he gained proficiency in full life cycle recruiting, establishing a quick rapport with applicants to make quick and accurate assessments of their fit, and working with clients and agencies to find and place the best talent – from entry level to senior levels. Digital, sales and marketing are his specialties.
Jacques has considerable experience managing sales staffs and interacting with mid to senior management in private industry and government for leading media companies and advertising agencies in the United States, South East Asia, Latin America, Canada and Europe.
He joined Social61 in 2015 to direct our rapid sales growth by applying his industry expertise and understanding of social media potentials within the recruiting industry.
